- Matriculation From a recognized Board.
- Players who have participated in any international Competition/ National Competitions/ Inter-University Tournaments/ National Sports/ Games for Schools National award winner in National Physical Efficiency Drive.

Payscale and other allowance will be as admissible to Assam Rifles personnel as per 7tn CPC.
Assam Rifles Sports Age Limit
- For Gen & OBC candidates: 18-28 years as of 1st August 2024. Candidates should have not been born earlier than 1st August 1994 and later than 1st August 2004.
- For SC & ST candidates: 18-33 years as of 1st August 2024. Candidates should have not been born earlier than 1st August 1989 and later than 1st August 2004.
