- Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with atleast 55% marks. Ph.D degree holders.
- The candidate must have cleared NET/ SLET/ SET conducted by the UGC, CSIR/ AIU.
- The candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph. D degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission 2009 shall be exempted from the from the requirement of the mnimum eligibility conditions of NET/ SLET/ SET
- NET/ SLET/ SET shall also not be required for such Master’s Programmes in disciplines for which NET/ SLET/ SET is not conducted.

JKPSC Salary
Selected candidates will getting salary of Rs 15,600-39,100+ AGP. Rs.6000 Pre-revised.
JKPSC Selection Process
The selection shall be made in accordance with the provisions laid down in the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2024. Candidates are especially advised to acquaint themselves with the Provisions of Rule 45 (i) (for Assistant Professor), Rule 45 (i) (b) (for Librarian) & Rule 45 (ii) (for PTI) of Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2024
JKPSC Application Fee
After successful submission of the online application form, the candidate will be required to deposit the requisite fee through online mode. The amount of fee to be paid is given below:
- General Category- Rs.1000.00
- Reserved Categories- Rs.500.00
- PHC Candidates- Nil.
