- M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Physics with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ ST)
- Experience in the field of electro catalyst, synthesis of nanomaterials, characterizations of nanomaterials and fuel cells. or Experience in polymer chemistry and electrochemistry will be preferred.

- B.E/ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ ST) with GATE qualification (If suitable GATE qualified candidates are not available, candidates without GATE will be engaged)
- Knowledge of fuel cells, hydrogen energy, thermodynamics will be preferred.

- B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ ST) with GATE qualification AND 2 years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services (If suitable GATE qualified candidates are not available, candidates without GATE will be engaged)
- Experience in the field of fuel cell engineering, thermal management, reactor designing, AutoCAD/ Inventor for 2D and 3D designs, Modelling software’s such as COMSOL, Ansys and ASPEN.

- M.Sc. in Chemistry with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ ST) AND 4 years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services OR Doctoral Degree in Science/ Engineering from recognized university or equivalent.
- Experience in the field of electro catalyst, synthesis of nanomaterials, characterizations of nanomaterials and fuel cells.
