Should have Bachelor?s Degree from a recognised University or Institution; and Possesses at least one hundred and twenty hours course with hands on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing applications from a Government recogniesed institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO 9001 certified.
(or) Possesses a Computer Information Technology course equivalent to ?O? Level certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) of Government of India Qualifies a test in Punjabi (In Unicode Compliant Font Raavi ) and English typing to be held by the Board or the appointing authority or the Department of Information Technology as the case may be, at a speed of thirty words per minute before his appointment

Should possess a degree in Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology OR Electronics and Communication Or Computer Science from a recognized university.
OR Should possess a Master?s Degree in computer Applications from a recognized university Qualifies a competitive test to be held by the recruiting authority; and Qualifies a type test in Punjabi and English to be held by the recruiting authority at the speed of thirty words per minute or at such speed as may be specified by the Punjab Government from time to time and other conditions applicable as per the Punjab Civil Services (General and Common conditions of Services) Rules, 1994, as amended from time to time.

At least IInd class Bachelor?s Degree in Commerce from a recognized university and should have at least two years working experience o computer preference will be given to persons having experience in Accounts Work in a Government DepartmentPublic Sector Undertakings Large Industrial House. Knowledge of Computer The candidate must have undergone a computer course of six months duration from a reputed institute.
